Joyce Lacey is the endorsed candidate for the Independence-Alliance Party of Minnesota and is already on the November ballot. Independence-Alliance elected Gov. Jesse Ventura and have been called the most successful alternative party in America.

Joyce received the 2023 The Minnesota Council on Disability's Exceptional Advocate Award. It goes to citizen advocates and legislators who do notable work for people with disabilities.

Building an inclusive and just Minnesota for people with disabilities is an effort that requires significant dedication. We need to make Minnesota inclusive, accessible, and welcoming to everyone.

Joyce Lacey was the first MN U.S. Senate candidate to sign the U.S. Term Limits Pledge.  “I will cosponsor and vote for the U.S. Term Limits amendment of two Senate terms and no longer limit. Amy Klobuchar, a career politician, is running for her FOURTH term.

In politics there are surprises. I have a philosophy of filling out all survey requests. I did not agree in lock-step with this one but, in any event, still received their candidate of distinction badge - click the button below to read more about it. 

Two-time US Senate candidate Michael Cavlan has endorsed Joyce Lacey for U.S Senate. 

Michael ran against Amy Klobuchar in 2006 as the Green Party candidate and in 2012 under the MN Open Progressive party.

Joyce is building bridges and Michael agrees.  

Michael notes that, "I do not speak on behalf of any Union, Committee or Organization. I only speak on behalf of myself and anyone else who agrees with me. Especially those who are silenced and marginalized. I, proudly endorse Joyce Lacey for the US Senate race in Minnesota for 2024."

Joyce Lacey is the cross-endorsed candidate for the Reform Party. She is listed on the ballot under Independence-Alliance who nominated her and put her onto the ballot.

Joyce Lacey was recognized for her leadership and dedication to independent living and received the 2021 Larry Chial Leadership Award - presented by the Freedom Resource Center for Independent Living, a leader of disability rights in the MN/ND region.

She was honored at the People's Choice Awards Oct. 28, 2021.
